I have wagered on countless of hands of 21. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have enjoyed online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of funds at chemin de fer. The gambling dens have made it almost impossible to defeat the house.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a regular basis. Over the years I have wagered on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get flush with this tactic or defeat the house, still you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is centered on the fact that chemin de fer appears to be a match of streaks. When you are hot your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the action back down to the original value.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets very fun sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Paris a few years ago with $750 after 35 minutes using this technique! And a few months ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can squander much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the runs you witness betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Wager $5
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the first five dollar wager
Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of $10
Bet $10
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the original ten dollar wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $20
Wager $20
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first twenty dollar wager
Wager $20
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original $40 wager
Bet forty dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $80 bet
Wager $80
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Wager $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the initial 1 hundred and 60 dollar bet
If you departed at this point you would be up $315 !!
It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
