I have gambled on millions of hands of blackjack. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was still underage. I have bet on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent a lot of funds at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the house.
I still like the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have played a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get rich with this method or defeat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is founded on the fact that 21 appears to be a match of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the bet back down to the original value.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very fun at times. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a number of years ago with $750 after 35 mins using this tactic! And a few days ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You need to comprehend that you can squander much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the runs you witness gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.
Wager 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial five dollar wager
Wager five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $10
Bet 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original 10 dollar bet
Bet ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $20
Wager twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $20 bet
Wager twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total bet of $40
Bet forty dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the first $40 wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Wager $80
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the original 80 dollar bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager $160
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the initial one hundred and 60 dollar bet
If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and lower your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
