I have enjoyed countless of hands of vingt-et-un. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have wagered on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of funds at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it nearly impossible to defeat the house.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have wagered on a type of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this method or beat the casino, still you will have a lot of fun. This method is built on the fact that 21 appears to be a match of streaks. When you are hot your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy 21. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I lose again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the wager back down to the original value.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets extremely thrilling at times. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a number of years ago with $750 after 35 mins using this tactic! And a couple of days ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can give away a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be aghast at the runs you witness playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 table.
Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial five dollar bet
Bet 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Wager $10
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 10 dollar wager
Bet $10
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 20 dollar bet
Bet $20
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the original 40 dollar bet
Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Wager eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 80 dollar bet
Bet 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Wager $160
Take $160 paid to you, leave the initial $160 wager
If you left at this moment you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It is hard to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
