I have played countless of rounds of blackjack. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have wagered on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent a lot of money at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to beat the game.
I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have wagered on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get loaded with this method or defeat the house, still you will have an abundance of fun. This method is based on the idea that blackjack appears to be a match of streaks. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the wager back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets extremely fun sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a number of years ago with $750 after 35 minutes using this method! And a couple of days ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can give up much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you see betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 game.

Take $5 paid to you, leave the initial 5 dollar bet
Wager 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager ten dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the original ten dollar bet
Bet $10
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $20
Wager 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $20 wager
Bet 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the original 40 dollar bet
Wager forty dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the initial 80 dollar bet
Bet 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Wager 160 dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the initial $160 wager
If you departed at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is difficult to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
