I have enjoyed millions of rounds of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have played online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of cash at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it nearly impossible to defeat the game.
I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is built on the idea that blackjack appears to be a match of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I do not win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the wager back down to the original amount.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets very enjoyable sometimes. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a couple of years ago with $750 after 20 mins using this method! And a number of months ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You must comprehend that you can give up a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the streaks you see gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.

Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 5 dollar wager

Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar

Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original ten dollar bet

Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first twenty dollar wager
Wager twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Wager forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $40 wager
Bet 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet $80
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original $80 wager
Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager $160
Take $160 paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet
If you left at this point you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It’s herculean to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
