I have gambled on millions of rounds of blackjack. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have bet on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of money at twenty-one. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the house.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get loaded with this method or defeat the casino, however you will have an abundance of fun. This method is centered on the fact that blackjack seems to be a game of runs. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the wager back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable on occasion. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a few years ago with $750 after 20 mins using this method! And a couple of months ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!
You need to comprehend that you can lose a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be amazed at the runs you notice playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 table.

Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the initial forty dollar bet
Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80
Wager 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original eighty dollar bet
Bet $80
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of $160
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 1 hundred and sixty dollar wager
If you departed at this instance you would be up 3 hundred and 15 dollars !!
It’s herculean to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
