I have played millions of hands of blackjack. I began working my way into the casinos when I was still underage. I have wagered on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost a lot of cash at blackjack. The casinos have made it almost impossible to beat the game.
I still like the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the fact that blackjack seems to be a match of streaks. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely enjoyable at times. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Paris a number of years ago with $750 after 30 mins using this method! And a number of months ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You must comprehend that you can relinquish much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the runs you see betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.
Bet five dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the first five dollar wager
Wager 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Bet $10
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar bet
Bet ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Wager $20
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the initial 20 dollar bet
Bet $20
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Wager forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 40 dollar wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the first eighty dollar bet
Bet $80
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet $160
Take $160 paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet
If you left at this moment you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It’s herculean to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
